MV Cable

The US Air Force is seeking a contractor to provide and deliver a new #1/0 15KV 133% EPR tape shielded 220mil wire, 3,000 LF with cuts at 1000 ft. The contractor shall furnish materials and incidentals, and the work includes aerial, direct burial, and underground duct installations as permitted by the NEC. The contractor must be able to deliver the cable within 60 calendar days from the date of award. • The cable must meet specific requirements, including a conductor temperature not exceeding 105°C for normal operation, 140°C for emergency overload conditions, and 250°C for short circuit conditions. • The cable must be rated at 15,000 V, 133% insulation level (ungrounded system). • The contractor must provide a plan describing how they will meet the requirements outlined in the Statement of Objectives (SON). • The plan must include all specifications of parts and equipment necessary for completion of the project.
