Logistical and Auction Services

The Kansas Department of Revenue is seeking a contractor to provide logistical and auction services. The contractor will be responsible for providing support for the seizure of assets, inventorying, packaging, loading, and transporting seized assets to a KDOR-approved location. The contractor will also be responsible for organizing and conducting auctions, including marketing and advertising the auction, managing the auction process, and collecting proceeds. The contract will be for a period of approximately 7 months, with options to renew for up to three additional 12-month periods. Some key responsibilities of the contractor include: • Providing logistical support for the seizure of assets • Organizing and conducting auctions • Managing the auction process • Collecting proceeds and remitting them to KDOR • Maintaining accurate records and providing reports to KDOR The contractor will be paid based on a commission rate, with additional fees for storage, mileage, and other expenses. The contractor will also be responsible for enforcing all terms of the sale and ensuring that all proceeds are collected and remitted to KDOR.
