Shimadzu Total Organic Carbon Analyzer Service

The City of Columbus, Division of Water, is seeking a vendor to provide annual service and preventative maintenance for a Shimadzu Total Organic Carbon Analyzer. The service should be equivalent to the Extended Warranty Plus offered by Shimadzu Scientific Instruments, Inc. This includes a combination of one scheduled Premium PM visit and Extended Warranty Coverage per service agreement year. The vendor will provide necessary cleaning, adjustments, verification, lubrication, and parts replacement, with labor included in the Premium PM visit at no additional cost to the City. The service agreement will cover the period from 10/16/2026 to 10/15/2027. Key aspects of the service include: • A combination of one scheduled Premium PM visit and Extended Warranty Coverage per service agreement year. • Premium PM visit will include necessary cleaning, adjustments, verification, lubrication, and parts replacement. • Extended Warranty Coverage includes all labor and parts (excluding consumables) necessary to restore the instrument to operating specifications. • The vendor has the option to provide on-site repair service, repair the product at a service center, or provide necessary replacement parts with installation instructions and/or phone support. • Coverage Exclusions include repairs related to adverse environmental conditions, services necessitated by neglect, contamination by external sources, misuse, improper operation or maintenance, and work necessitated by damage from accident, fire, water, vandalism, electrical power failure, or any other casualty.
