Training and Curriculum Development

The Department of Children and Families (DCF) is seeking responses from individuals and organizations to provide training and curriculum development services for professional adults working in a child welfare setting. The selected vendor will be responsible for delivering training sessions, developing curriculum, and providing consultation services as needed. The scope of work includes providing expert content and practice knowledge in areas such as critical thinking, motivational interviewing, and trauma-informed practice. The vendor will be required to use a consistent structure developed by the DCF to define the purpose and desired outcomes of each training event. • The vendor will be hired as a trainer, co-trainer, training consultant, or curriculum developer. • The vendor will provide training sessions, develop curriculum, and provide consultation services as needed. • The vendor will be required to use a consistent structure developed by the DCF to define the purpose and desired outcomes of each training event. • The vendor will be responsible for identifying and operating any media, computers, and projection equipment necessary to conduct the specific training program. • The DCF reserves the right to do an audio/visual recording of any trainings and/or facilitations of contractors for the purposes of continuous quality improvement and evaluation.
