Refilling of Propane

The State of Hawaii Department of Transportation is seeking a qualified vendor to provide on‑demand propane refilling services for its Oahu District facilities. The contractor will supply and dispense propane cylinders of various sizes, responding to orders within two business days, and must adhere to all applicable hazardous‑materials, safety, and licensing regulations. Payments will be made on a per‑pound basis, inclusive of taxes, delivery, and all associated costs, with monthly invoicing supported by signed delivery tickets. This is a 12‑month contract with no guaranteed minimum volume; the State estimates roughly 3,000 lb per month but will pay only for actual propane dispensed. • Provide on‑site or off‑site refilling of 20 lb, 40 lb, 100 lb, and forklift‑type propane cylinders. • Meet a 2‑business‑day response window and operate within standard business hours (6:45 a.m.–3:15 p.m., Mon‑Fri, excluding State holidays). • Maintain full compliance with DOT, OSHA, NFPA 58, and Hawaii licensing requirements, and submit monthly invoices with signed delivery tickets.
