Description

This solicitation from the Defense Logistics Agency seeks manufacturers or authorized distributors to supply chargers and batteries that meet specific military marking and quality standards. The contractor must provide items that conform to MIL‑STD‑130 marking, adhere to rigorous inspection and acceptance protocols, and submit invoices electronically through the PIEE‑WAWF system. The contract will be awarded on a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) basis, and the contractor is responsible for all inspection, packaging, and record‑keeping requirements. • Manufacture or distribute charger‑battery assemblies per the listed CAGE code specifications. • Ensure compliance with MIL‑STD‑130 marking and all applicable DLA quality assurance directives. • Submit quotes electronically, include OEM and CAGE information, and be prepared for electronic invoicing via PIEE‑WAWF. • Follow LPTA evaluation; price is the primary award factor, provided technical acceptability. • Maintain inspection records for at least 365 days after delivery and adhere to packaging standards (MIL‑STD‑2073).

Budget estimate

$10,000 – $50,000

There is no monetary value disclosed in the solicitation. Based on typical DLA procurement for individual charger‑battery units, the contract is likely to be a small‑scale purchase, possibly ranging from a few thousand dollars for a limited quantity up to several tens of thousands if larger volumes or multiple part numbers are involved. Therefore, a reasonable estimate is $10,000 to $50,000, depending on the quantity and unit price negotiated.
