Vertical Reciprocating Conveyor (VRC) Repair

The Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PHNSY & IMF) is seeking sources that are interested and capable of performing structural repairs and hardware replacement on the Vertical Reciprocating Conveyor (VRC) located in the Controlled Industrial Area (CIA). The scope of work includes removing and replacing deck plates, structural angle braces, and associated hardware. The contractor shall provide all material, labor, supervision, tools, design, transportation, and machinery to complete the work. Key aspects of the job include: • Providing a Safety Plan and an Environmental Protection Plan • Complying with safety and health work practices, as well as environmental guidelines • Coordinating with PHNSY&IMF to obtain base entry and security clearances • Maintaining records of reviews and actions taken per the Quality Control Plan • Ensuring all contract personnel identify themselves as contractors and wear visible company identification
