Charge Ready NY 2.0 Equipment and Network Qualification Process

This RFQL seeks to create a pre‑qualified list of Level 2 electric‑vehicle (EV) charging equipment and the networks that can support them, so that future NYSERDA “Charge Ready NY 2.0” incentives can be applied to eligible installations. Manufacturers must submit detailed specifications for each charger model, including UL listing, Energy‑Star certification, ISO‑15118‑3 and OCPP 1.6 compliance, warranty terms, and network‑readiness. Network operators must demonstrate open‑access capability, OCPP support, data‑reporting (session and status), remote diagnostics, multiple payment options, toll‑free support, and OpenADR 2.0 demand‑response compatibility. No funding is awarded through this solicitation; successful applicants are simply added to a publicly posted qualified‑equipment/network list for future incentive eligibility. • Eligibility – Level 2 AC EVSE (≥ 6.2 kW/port), UL‑listed, Energy‑Star, ISO‑15118‑3, OCPP 1.6+, 36‑month warranty, network‑ready. • Network requirements – Open‑access, remote diagnostics/start, 24/7 toll‑free support, multi‑method payment, CSV/Excel data export, OpenADR 2.0 (or equivalent) demand‑response interface. • Submission – Excel qualification worksheets (Attachments A & B), PDFs of cut‑sheets and Energy‑Star certificates, signed Terms & Conditions (Attachment D); all filed via NYSERDA’s online portal by 31 Dec 2026 3 PM ET. • Outcome – Qualified models and networks will be listed on NYSERDA’s website; qualified equipment may later receive incentive payments when installed by eligible site owners.
