Industrial Gas

The University of Kansas is seeking a vendor to provide Compressed Gases/Cylinders, Bulk Gases, Specialty/Custom Mixtures, Gas Handling Equipment, and Dewar Rental for use by the University and the KU-Medical Center. The contract period is from July 1, 2026, to June 30, 2029, with two optional two-year renewals. The evaluation criteria include technical requirements, pricing, safety, delivery/logistics and reliability, and customer service. • The RFP includes a pre-proposal conference scheduled for March 12, 2026. • Questions must be submitted through the eBid questions tab prior to February 27, 2026. • The anticipated evaluation steps include proposal review, finalist interviews/presentations/demos, and contract execution. • The solicitation award shall be made in the best interest of the University as determined by the KU Procurement Negotiation Committee.
