Senior Community Service Employment Program - Request for Application (RFA)

The Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development (DWD) is soliciting applications from qualified organizations to operate the Wisconsin Senior Employment (WISE) Program. The program provides part-time, paid community service employment and training opportunities for unemployed, low-income individuals aged 55 and older who face barriers to employment. The WISE program supports economic self-sufficiency by providing meaningful community service assignments, developing job skills, and assisting participants in transitioning to unsubsidized employment. • The program is authorized under Title V of the Older Americans Act (OAA) and administered by the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) • The DWD intends to award a single statewide contract but reserves the right to make multiple awards if necessary to ensure adequate geographic coverage and service delivery capacity • The program aims to provide part-time, paid community service employment and training opportunities for unemployed, low-income individuals aged 55 and older
