UPS Replacement Project ECC

The KC Board of Public Utilities is seeking a contractor to replace the existing UPS at their Electric Control Center in Kansas City, KS. The scope of work includes disconnecting, removing, and disposing of the existing UPS systems and parallel panel, providing and installing new 30KVA UPS systems with a parallel cabinet, and providing primary injection testing for all new breakers. The installation will require one complete outage for up to 8 hours. Key aspects of the project include: • Replacement of existing UPS systems • Installation of new UPS systems and parallel cabinet • Primary injection testing for new breakers • Installation of new feeders and control wiring • Reuse of existing interlock key system The contractor will be responsible for providing labor and materials for the project.
