Description

County of El Dorado’s Health and Human Services Agency is seeking qualified vendors to provide temporary behavioral‑health staffing for its Behavioral Health Division. The solicitation calls for licensed clinicians and support staff capable of delivering specialty mental‑health services, crisis‑intervention, assessments, and medical staffing across both the West Slope (Placerville area) and East Slope (South Lake Tahoe basin). Respondents must submit Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) and meet extensive credentialing, background‑check, insurance, and compliance requirements. The contract will be awarded for an initial three‑year term with an optional one‑year extension, and the County will retain authority over client care and may dismiss staff at any time. • Provide temporary staff (e.g., AMFT, LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, psychiatrists, psychologists, MHWs, LVNs, psychiatric technicians/nurses). • Staff must hold current California licenses, complete OSHA/HIPAA training, pass medical and background checks, and be fully insured. • Services cover all County‑identified locations, including urgent‑care and emergency‑room sites on both the West and East slopes. • Evaluation based on firm experience (35 pts), team qualifications (36 pts), work plan (20 pts), and references (9 pts); fee schedule opened only after ranking.

Budget estimate

$1,500,000 – $5,000,000

The solicitation does not disclose a contract ceiling. Based on typical hourly rates for licensed behavioral‑health professionals ($70‑$150/hr) and the expectation of multiple staff over a three‑year period, total compensation could range from roughly $1.5 million for a minimal staffing model to $5 million for a full‑scale, multi‑category deployment.
