The VA is seeking a qualified Service‑Disabled Veteran‑Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) to provide comprehensive solid‑waste collection, recycling, and disposal services for the Richmond VA Medical Center under an IDIQ contract. The award will be a firm‑fixed‑price, base‑year contract with three optional one‑year extensions, covering waste‑stream management, container provision, universal‑waste handling, monthly reporting, and required training for VA staff. The contractor must supply and maintain a range of waste containers, perform scheduled pickups, manage disposal at VA‑approved facilities, and meet stringent security and safety requirements.
• Provide daily/regular collection of general waste, recyclables, and universal waste across multiple campus locations.
• Supply, maintain, and operate a fleet of containers (42‑CY, 35‑CY, 8‑YD dumpsters, 30‑CY, 40‑CY recyclables, etc.) and a 34‑CY self‑contained compactor.
• Deliver monthly tonnage/recycling reports, conduct annual waste‑stream audits, and achieve diversion targets (60 % by FY 2027, 90 % by FY 2030).
