Vendor Managed Inventory

The Southern Maryland Cooperative Purchasing Committee (SMCPC) is seeking a vendor to provide and manage Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) systems and/or products for its members, including Charles County Public Schools, St. Mary's County Public Schools, Calvert County Public Schools, and Charles County Government. The selected vendor will be responsible for setting up and maintaining VMI systems, providing 100% Green Seal Certified janitorial supplies, and offering a certified training program. The vendor must have at least five years of experience in providing similar services and be licensed to do business in the State of Maryland. Some key points to consider: • The contract period is one year with four optional one-year renewals. • The vendor must provide monthly reports on product usage and suggest ways to improve efficiency. • The vendor must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to environmental sustainability and social responsibility. • The SMCPC reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to award the contract to the vendor that best meets its needs.
