Offutt Telecommunication Services

The US Air Force is seeking information from potential vendors to provide local and long-distance telecommunication services to Offutt Air Force Base in Nebraska. The services required include local phone service, long-distance service, and international telecommunication services. The contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, tools, facilities, materials, and services needed to perform and provide local access to the designated circuit demarcation points. The contractor will also be required to provide a Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) trunk with Offutt's existing 20,000 phone numbers. Some key features of the job include: • Providing local and long-distance telecommunication services • Providing international telecommunication services • Installing transmission equipment and cables for local exchange access and transport service circuits • Connecting to government-provided power connection points and termination frames • Coordinating with the government point of contact prior to any installation • Providing a 24/7 capability to monitor the IP connection to the customer gateway equipment and alert the customer to a link failure
