Description

The City of Forest Park is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide professional audio production services for outdoor events at Starr Park. The selected contractor will provide qualified personnel to operate all equipment, labor, setup, operation, and teardown necessary to support high-quality sound production for outdoor events. The initial contract term will be one year with up to two one-year renewal options. The contractor must have a minimum of three years of experience in audio production services and must demonstrate experience supporting outdoor events, municipal events, and large public gatherings. The contractor must also have access to professional-grade audio equipment and qualified technical staff. Some key responsibilities include delivering, installing, operating, monitoring, and removing all audio equipment necessary to support outdoor events, employing qualified sound engineers and technical staff, and providing tie-in for band equipment as needed. • The contractor must provide a complete proposal, including a letter of interest, title page, executive summary, organizational structure, key personnel and resumes, experience and past performance, management and staffing plan, quality control plan, and local, small business, and diversity program. • The contractor must also submit an electronic cost proposal, which must support the scope of services contained in the RFP and fully encompass all activities in the proponent's proposal. • The city reserves the right to award contracts to multiple vendors to ensure availability. • The city will evaluate proposals based on the responsiveness and responsibility of each proponent, as well as the proposed pricing and the proponent's experience and past performance.

Budget estimate

$50,000 – $600,000

Based on the information provided in the RFP, it appears that the city is seeking a contractor to provide audio production services for a variety of outdoor events, including concerts, festivals, and community gatherings. The RFP does not provide a specific budget for the contract, but it does mention that the contractor will be required to submit an electronic cost proposal. Given the scope of the services required, it is likely that the contract will be valued in the range of $50,000 to $200,000 per year, depending on the number and type of events, as well as the level of equipment and personnel required. The city's insurance requirements, which include commercial general liability, automobile liability, and workers' compensation, may also impact the contractor's cost proposal. Overall, the budget for this contract is likely to be in the range of $50,000 to $600,000 over the three-year contract term.
