Draft Fair Opportunity Proposal Request (FOPR)

The Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center is seeking a qualified contractor to provide build‑to‑design manufacturing, electronic assembly, program management, quality assurance, data/security management, and logistics support for the B‑52 Nuclear Stores Interface Unit (NSIU) Follow‑on Production effort. The work will be performed under a firm‑fixed‑price IDIQ contract posted to the Eglin Wide Agile Acquisition Contract (EWAAC) portal. The NSIU is a nuclear‑hardened line‑replaceable unit that includes printed wiring assemblies, interconnects, and chassis. The contractor must deliver flight‑ready hardware, perform production testing, and manage associated data rights per GRID requirements. • Hardware manufacturing and electronic assembly of NSIU LRUs • Program management, systems engineering, and quality assurance • Production testing and certification of flight‑ready units • Data, security, and logistics support for delivery • Compliance with FAR Part 16, firm‑fixed‑price contract terms, and GRID data‑rights provisions.
