DESIGN SERVICES FOR NORTH DOUGLAS LAUNCH RAMP EXPANSION

The City and Borough of Juneau is seeking a consultant to provide design services for the North Douglas Launch Ramp Expansion project. The project involves expanding the existing launch ramp facility to create additional parking spaces and improve the overall functionality of the site. The consultant will be responsible for providing all professional engineering services necessary to prepare complete bid-ready construction drawings, specifications, permits, and other required documents. The project is expected to be completed in several phases, with the 35% construction documents due by October 1, 2027, and the bid-ready documents due by January 15, 2028. • The consultant will be required to conduct public workshops and work with the City and Borough of Juneau's Project Manager to develop conceptual and final project designs. • The consultant will be responsible for obtaining all necessary permits and approvals, including those from the Army Corps of Engineers and the State of Alaska. • The consultant will be required to provide design clarification and verification services during the construction phase. • The consultant will be expected to work closely with the City and Borough of Juneau's staff and other stakeholders to ensure that the project is completed on time and within budget.
