Compressed Gases Sources Sought

The United States Air Force (USAF) is conducting a market survey to identify potential sources that can provide high-purity argon and nitrogen gas, along with the lease, installation, maintenance, and eventual removal of two cryogenic bulk tanks and associated equipment. The contractor must adhere to specific requirements, including providing certificates of conformance and Safety Data Sheets with each delivery, and ensuring OEM gas process conditions are met. The government estimates an annual purchase of 28,000 liters of argon gas and 33,000 liters of nitrogen gas. • The contractor must provide a supply system and labor to install the system according to contractor drawings and connect it to government-supplied piping. • The contractor must install and ensure all equipment is per NFPA 55 Standard for the storage, use, and handling of compressed gases and cryogenic fluids. • The contractor must provide specific locations for terminations of utilities, including power and process piping. • The government will provide adequate foundation, piping, and utilities, and obtain all applicable permits and licenses.
