Vegetation Management Products - RFI #1

The State of Washington, Department of Enterprise Services (DES), is seeking feedback from vendors regarding the development of a competitive solicitation for Vegetation Management Products. This includes herbicides, adjuvants, surfactants, and other related products used to manage vegetation along highways, forestry areas, nurseries, and other lands managed by the state or municipalities. The state is seeking input on product availability, pricing, and any issues or concerns vendors may have. Vendors are asked to review the attached draft documents and provide comments and suggestions via email by November 21, 2025. • The solicitation includes various categories of products, such as herbicides, adjuvants, and surfactants. • Vendors are asked to indicate whether they can provide all products listed under each category or offer acceptable alternatives. • The state is also seeking information on tiered thresholds, volume, and bulk discounts. • Vendors are encouraged to review the attached draft documents and provide comments and suggestions.
