NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE – PURDUE UNIVERSITY / GTAP CONSORTIUM

The U.S. International Trade Commission intends to award a purchase order on a sole source basis to Purdue University for an updated version of the Global Trade Analysis Project (GTAP) Critical Mineral (CM) database. The database should be compatible with GTAP v12 and have a reference year of 2023. The commission requires this database for the analysis of trade policies. The estimated total value of the contract is $26,376.00. • The database combines information from multiple sources of varying quality. • The technical process for reconciling the different data, as well as methodology to balance the resulting dataset, is complex. • The commission has conducted market research and found no other source offering such a disaggregated and unified data source. • The delivery of the database is due on 10/30/2026.
