Clinical and Translational Science Award

The Clinical and Translational Science Award (CTSA) Program aims to accelerate the translation of scientific discoveries into treatments, diagnostics, and health interventions that improve patient and public health. The program will fund and coordinate a national network of academic medical centers to provide the infrastructure, expertise, training, and collaboration needed to move discoveries from the laboratory into clinical practice and community health. The key aspects of this opportunity include: • Accelerating the translation of scientific discoveries into treatments, diagnostics, and health interventions • Funding and coordinating a national network of academic medical centers • Providing infrastructure, expertise, training, and collaboration for clinical and translational science • Catalyzing the development, demonstration, and dissemination of methods and technologies to improve efficiency and quality across the translational research spectrum • Supporting a CTSA Hub that provides an integrated research and training environment for clinical and translational science
