Uniforms & Equipment

The Rockingham County Sheriff's Office is soliciting proposals for the provision of uniforms and equipment for the fiscal year 2027. The proposal deadline is August 12, 2026, at 7:30 a.m. ET. Proposals can be submitted in hard copy, via email, or online through Public Purchase. The proposal must include: * Organization's legal name and contact information * Tax ID and physical address * Itemized pricing, including shipping and freight costs * Cut sheets, specifications, and brochures for all products quoted * Warranty and service availability information * Proposed start and completion time schedule * Insurance requirements and indemnification obligations The proposal will be evaluated based on the following criteria: * Price * Quality of products and services * Warranty and service availability * Insurance and indemnification requirements The contract will be awarded to the successful bidder at a regular scheduled Rockingham County Board of Commissioners meeting. The contract will include non-appropriation and indemnification clauses, which must be accepted by the successful bidder. The proposal requires the provision of uniforms and equipment, including: * Winter uniforms (long sleeve shirts and trousers) * Summer uniforms (short sleeve shirts and trousers) * Utility uniforms (tactical shirts and pants) * Jackets (softshell and fleece) * Hats (felt campaign hats) The proposal must also include pricing for each item, as well as any additional services, such as alteration services. The successful bidder will be required to maintain insurance coverage throughout the duration of the contract, including professional liability, workers' compensation, general liability, and motor vehicle insurance. The bidder must also provide an insurance certificate confirming the required coverage. The Rockingham County Board of Commissioners reserves the right to accept or reject any proposals, select the proposal deemed to be in the best interest of Rockingham County, and waive any formalities in the bidding process.
