DOH FY-27, WIC - *IT Request* BMCFH-SFY27-WIC FMNP eSolution Training & Support - RFP

The Ohio Department of Health’s WIC program is seeking a vendor to recruit, train, and provide ongoing support for farmers and farmers’ markets as they transition the Ohio WIC Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program (FMNP) from paper vouchers to an electronic benefits system. This effort aims to increase program participation, streamline benefit redemption, and align with the state’s broader e‑benefits modernization strategy. The contractor will be responsible for outreach to growers, delivery of training curriculum, technical assistance on the Homegrown online platform, and post‑implementation support. • Recruit and onboard farmers and market operators to the electronic FMNP system. • Develop and deliver training materials (both in‑person and virtual) on e‑benefits usage. • Provide ongoing technical support and troubleshooting for the Homegrown application. • Coordinate with ODH staff to ensure compliance with state regulations and reporting requirements. • Offer performance monitoring and continuous improvement recommendations throughout the contract period.
