Police Vehicle Upfits

The City of Jackson is soliciting unpriced bid proposals for the installation of police vehicle upfitting equipment. The contract shall be for a period of one year from the date of award, and the City may issue purchase orders or work authorizations for individual vehicles on an as-needed basis. The initial award is expected to include eight City-provided Dodge Durango vehicles. The City does not guarantee any additional vehicles beyond the initial eight during the one-year contract term. • The contract includes the installation of various equipment such as front and rear visors, siren remote knobs, speakers, and LED lights. • The vendor shall provide a minimum one-year workmanship warranty on installation labor. • The City shall be responsible for software licensing, cellular/data activation, radio programming, MDT/CAD configuration, and user credentials. • The vendor shall coordinate with the City's IT/radio personnel as required. • The contract includes a reverse auction process, where vendors will submit pricing through an online platform.
