Description:
The National Human Genome Research Institute (NHGRI) is seeking applicants to create toolkits for the dissemination of genomic technologies. These toolkits should contain the necessary components and information required to implement the technology, including custom reagents and/or hardware, annotated and updated protocols, computational pipelines, and hands-on methods training and workshops for the scientific community. The goal of this initiative is to lower the barrier to technology adoption and support the dissemination efforts of tool and technology developers. Key aspects of the job include: • Developing and disseminating genomic technologies • Creating integrated toolkits for technology implementation • Providing hands-on methods training and workshops for the scientific community • Supporting the wide-spread adoption of genomic technologies by the scientific community • Gaining independent validation of technologies and feedback from users to inform further maturation of genomic technologies.
