RFP #67: NYS Center for School Health

The New York State Education Department is seeking a single vendor to operate the NYS Center for School Health. The contractor will provide statewide health‑education technical assistance, develop and maintain evidence‑based resources, and deliver both web‑based and in‑person professional‑development (PD) programs for school health personnel and educators. The contract runs for five years (May 1 2026 – April 30 2031) and includes mandatory quarterly reporting, an evaluation plan due Q1 2026, annual work‑plan submissions, and compliance with a 30 % MWBE participation goal. • Deliver four new web‑based PD courses each year and refresh existing courses every five years. • Conduct full‑day in‑person PD events covering venue, materials, AV, speaker fees, travel, and refreshments (all costs borne by the vendor). • Provide ongoing technical assistance through a Health Educator and other required health‑education staff, and manage quarterly expense reporting aligned to pre‑approved budget categories.
