AUTOMOTIVE AND LIGHT/HEAVY-DUTY DIESEL TECHNICAL TRAINING SERVICES

The County of Middlesex is seeking qualified vendors to provide on-site Automotive and Light/Heavy-Duty Diesel technical training services for mechanics and automotive technicians employed by the Division of Central Vehicle Maintenance Repair (CVMR). The intent of this training is to enhance technician competency in the diagnosis, maintenance, and repair of automotive and diesel systems while supporting preparation for applicable Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certifications. Training shall be conducted on-site and include both classroom and hands-on instruction. • The training services shall include Automotive Systems Training, Advanced Diagnostics and Electronic Systems Training, and Heavy-Duty Diesel Systems Training. • The vendor shall provide all materials, equipment, and resources necessary to conduct the training. • The contract shall commence after date of award for a period of twelve (12) consecutive months, with an option to extend for one (1) additional year. • The vendor shall provide a firm fixed price for one (1) eight-hour training day for each training category.
