Description:
The U.S. Air Force is seeking a contractor to provide subscription television service to the Base Communications Office, enabling signal distribution to 360 television drops throughout the base. The contractor will be required to supply and install a fully operational head-end unit, including all necessary equipment, labor, and transportation. The head-end unit will utilize the existing Blonder Tongue HDE-8C-QAM to provide enhanced modulation capabilities for optimal compatibility with legacy television receivers. The contractor will also be required to provide a channel lineup of basic service available to all government users, including local channels and 24-hour news networks. • The contractor must provide a fully operational head-end unit, including all necessary equipment, labor, and transportation. • The head-end unit must utilize the existing Blonder Tongue HDE-8C-QAM to provide enhanced modulation capabilities. • The contractor must provide a channel lineup of basic service available to all government users, including local channels and 24-hour news networks. • The contractor must submit the channel lineup with proposal for approval. • The period of performance is from 1 August 2025 to 31 July 2026.
