Lead Testing & Reduction Program Services

The Kansas Department of Health and Environment is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive services in support of a voluntary Childcare Lead Testing and Reduction Grant Program. The selected vendor will deliver communication, training, testing, and mitigation support services, and will conduct lead sampling in accordance with EPA guidance. The contract will be for a period of 16 months, with the option to renew for four additional 12-month periods. The vendor will be required to provide pricing for years one and two, and the state reserves the right to accept, amend, or deny any price increase. • The vendor will be responsible for developing, hosting, and maintaining program-specific websites. • The vendor will provide education and training, communications, technical support, and account management. • The vendor will conduct lead sampling and provide remediation supplies and technical support. • The vendor will be required to comply with all applicable federal and state laws, including those related to information security and anti-discrimination. • The vendor will be required to provide a cost proposal, including pricing for years one and two.
