Ethernet & Dark Fiber for State Parks

The Office of State Procurement is seeking bids for Ethernet and dark fiber services to connect various state parks in Arkansas. The contractor will be responsible for installing and maintaining the fiber optic network, providing internet access, and ensuring the reliability and effectiveness of the services. The contract will be for an initial term of three years, with the option to renew for up to four additional one-year terms. The contractor must provide pricing for all bandwidths associated with each address, and the awards will be made based on the lowest average cost per Mbps for each address over 36 months. • The contractor must provide Ethernet services that support the transport of existing applications and related data currently being utilized by the Arkansas parks community. • The contractor must provide dark fiber services to connect the cabins at various state parks back to the visitor information center. • The contractor must provide a toll-free number for trouble reports and must be able to clear troubles within 8 business hours under normal circumstances. • The contractor must provide an escalation procedure with contact information for 24/7 support for all service types bid.
