Description

The Nebraska Lifespan Respite Network (NLRN) is seeking secondary funding for FY 2024 to expand and sustain statewide respite services for individuals with life‑long disabilities. The grant will support the development of additional respite resources, strengthen partnerships, and integrate services into the state’s long‑term services and supports system. Applicants will submit a quote request, a coversheet with narrative, a budget template, and a work‑plan template as part of the application package. • Funding aims to broaden access to existing respite infrastructure across Nebraska. • Recipients must align their work plan with state statutes 68‑1520 through 68‑1528. • Applications are due by April 3 2023; the process is a grant award rather than a competitive procurement.

Budget estimate

$100,000 – $500,000

The solicitation does not disclose a total award amount. Based on typical state grant funding for statewide respite networks, a single award could range from a few hundred thousand dollars up to a low‑million dollar figure, depending on the size of the service area and scope of activities. Assuming a modest regional rollout, an estimate of $100,000–$500,000 is reasonable. Larger consortiums could approach the upper bound.
