The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking businesses capable of providing van lift gate installation services. The project involves installing a 1,100-lb capacity hydraulic lift gate onto a Sprinter van, in accordance with manufacturer specifications, safety standards, and applicable federal, state, and local regulations. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, supervision, transportation, and equipment necessary for the installation. Key requirements include: • Providing and installing a new rear-mounted hydraulic lift gate assembly • Ensuring a minimum load capacity of 1,100 pounds • Ensuring compatibility with the existing Sprinter van make and model • Providing all required hardware, wiring, brackets, hydraulic components, and fasteners • Complying with vehicle manufacturer guidelines and safety standards for electrical work • Using corrosion-resistant materials suitable for coastal climates • Performing full operational testing, safety verification, and functional load testing upon completion
