Roman Catholic Priest Services Schofield Barracks

The United States Army Garrison Hawaii (USAG-HI) is seeking a Roman Catholic Priest to provide religious services to the Catholic population at Schofield Barracks and other locations. The contractor will be required to perform various tasks, including conducting masses, sacraments, and confessions, as well as providing counseling and other religious services. The contract will be for a base year of 12 months, with four option years, and the contractor will be required to work varying hours, including evenings and weekends. The government will provide some equipment and facilities, but the contractor will be responsible for providing their own priestly vestments and other necessary items. Key tasks and deliverables include: • Conducting weekend masses and holy day masses • Administering sacraments, such as baptism and matrimony • Providing counseling and pastoral care • Maintaining a log of work performed • Submitting invoices and other reports The contractor will be required to comply with various regulations and policies, including those related to security, safety, and personnel management. The ideal contractor will be an ordained Roman Catholic Priest with experience in military chapel programs and the ability to communicate effectively in English. They will be required to provide a resume and other documentation, including proof of endorsement by the Archdiocese for the Military Services, USA (AMS).
