26031 Waste and Refuse Hauling, Disposal and Recycling

Tulsa Public Schools seeks a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive waste hauling, disposal, and recycling services for all district sites. The contract aims to optimize current waste management processes, reduce overall costs, and increase diversion rates through improved recycling and composting. The selected company must deliver detailed tracking, reporting, and invoicing, and work closely with district facilities staff to enhance the program. • Provide solid waste collection, recycling (cardboard, paper, plastics, aluminum) and medical waste disposal services. • Exclude electronic waste from mixed recycling; electronic items must be handled separately if applicable. • Must comply with restrictions on container sizes (30‑gallon containers required; 18‑gallon not acceptable) and cannot use mail‑back programs for regulated medical waste. • Offer rebate options for mixed recycling and cardboard‑only recycling as part of the proposal.
