Record Keeping and Actuarial Consulting Services - Technical ONLY

The Washington County Board of County Commissioners is seeking a firm to provide record-keeping and actuarial consulting services for the Employees' Retirement Plan, the Washington County Maryland Volunteer Length of Service Award Program (LOSAP), and Other Post-Employment Benefits under GASB-45 (OPEB). The selected firm will be responsible for maintaining independent service, salary, and employee contribution histories, as well as providing actuarial consulting and valuation services. The contract will be for a one-year period with an option to renew for up to four additional years. Key responsibilities include: * Maintaining service histories and salary histories for the Retirement Plan and LOSAP * Providing annual employee statements and benefit calculations * Performing actuarial evaluations and providing GASB disclosure information * Providing consulting services and attending quarterly meetings with the County's investment advisors * Maintaining a secure online employee/employer retirement plan portal The County is looking for a firm with experience in providing record-keeping and actuarial consulting services to governmental employee groups. The firm should have a high understanding of contributory defined benefit plans and be able to demonstrate their ability to provide the required services.
