Sole Source Notice for Alcorn State University Product Development Center (PDC) Consulting Services

Alcorn State University is seeking consulting services for its Product Development Center (PDC). The selected consultant will provide professional consulting services for the planning, implementation, operational optimization, commercialization, and long-term sustainability of the PDC. Services include operational assessments, assembly line activation, food manufacturing systems consulting, regulatory compliance planning, product development, branding and marketing, grant development, business development, technology integration, workforce training, operations manual development, revenue generation planning, and knowledge transfer to university personnel. The university has determined that Donald & Associates Consulting Group is the only source that can provide these services due to their unique combination of expertise and comprehensive implementation framework specifically developed for the PDC. Key aspects of the project include: • Operational assessments and assembly line activation • Food manufacturing systems consulting and regulatory compliance planning • Product development, branding, and marketing • Grant development, business development, and technology integration • Workforce training, operations manual development, and revenue generation planning • Knowledge transfer to university personnel The total cost for the twelve-month consulting engagement is $138,000, payable in monthly installments of $11,500 based on the successful completion of established project milestones and accepted deliverables.
