The Department of Design and Construction (DDC) is seeking qualified general contractors to be placed on the Pre-Qualified List (PQL) for general construction projects with estimated construction costs ranging from $3,000,000 to less than $10,000,000. The PQL will be used to solicit project-specific bids for work on various buildings throughout the City of New York. To be eligible, applicants must have successfully completed at least three general construction projects with a construction cost range of $3,000,000 to less than $10,000,000 in the past five years. • The PQL is open to Minority and Women-owned Business Enterprise (M/WBE) contractors, as well as non-M/WBE contractors. • Applicants must submit an application detailing their credentials, including experience, financial capability, and safety record. • The application must include completed exhibits, such as the PQL Applicant Information, Qualification Form, Safety Questionnaire, and Business Integrity Questionnaire. • The DDC will review and evaluate the submissions to determine which contractors will be placed on the PQL. • Contractors on the PQL will be invited to bid on project-specific contracts, and the lowest responsible, responsive bidder will be selected for each project.
