Maui Police Department Communications Facility

The County of Maui is soliciting bids to construct a new communications facility for the Maui Police Department. The scope includes design‑build of a four‑sided steel antenna tower, a prefabricated equipment building, site grading, demolition of existing structures, concrete and masonry work, utility installations, asphalt and concrete paving, fencing, and associated site improvements on the TMK 4‑7‑014 parcel in Lahaina. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, and obtain required permits, licenses, bid bonds (5% of bid), performance bonds, and comply with Hawaii prevailing‑wage, apprenticeship, and resident‑workforce requirements. The project must be completed within 360 working days, with liquidated damages of $1,000 per day for overruns. A pre‑bid virtual conference is scheduled for September 8, 2026; attendance is optional.
