The University of Georgia is seeking quotes from providers of housing accommodations, including but not limited to hotels and apartments in the Athens area. The desired services include emergency housing accommodations, free Internet/Wi-Fi, close proximity to Athens Clarke County or University of Georgia bus stop, shower curtains, bed sheets, furniture, utilities, security services, and ADA capabilities. The contract will be awarded to the lowest, responsive and responsible supplier meeting all specifications. • Emergency housing accommodations in the event of dormitory housing disruptions • Free Internet/Wi-Fi • Close proximity to Athens Clarke County or University of Georgia bus stop • Shower curtains included • Bed sheets included • Furniture included (bed/mattress at a minimum) • Utilities included in price • Security services on property • A plan must be provided for key check-out and check-in • ADA capabilities required • Apartment complexes should not mix students with current residents in occupied apartments with multiple bedrooms • A site visit may be required at UGA’s discretion prior to a contract being awarded • Free parking provided
