PRETRIAL RELEASE RIDE PROGRAM

The State of Hawaii, Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, is seeking a contractor to provide pretrial release transportation services to individuals released under court-ordered supervision. The contractor will be responsible for providing transportation to and from court appearances, Intake Service Center branch offices, and community-based service providers. The contract term is 12 months, with two optional 12-month extensions. The contractor must obtain Volincor clearance and training for all employees providing transportation services. • The contractor must provide transportation services on a referral basis only, as authorized in advance by the applicable Intake Service Center branch. • The contractor must maintain liability insurance with minimum limits of $1,000,000 per occurrence and $2,000,000 aggregate. • The contractor must comply with all applicable state and federal statutes. • The contractor must provide invoices on a monthly basis, itemizing all transportation services provided during the billing period.
