NRCS-Ohio Gliatta Wetland Reserve Easement (WRE) Restoration Project

The USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) is seeking a contractor to provide wetland restoration services for the NRCS-Ohio Gliatta Wetland Reserve Easement (WRE) Restoration Project. The project involves H&H modeling and floodplain permitting, tile searching, wetland excavation, and rip rap installation. The contractor will be responsible for furnishing necessary personnel, supplies, materials, and incidentals to complete the project. The project is located in Porter Township, Delaware County, Ohio. • The project requires the contractor to follow applicable NRCS policy and criteria, including the NRCS Field Office Technical Guide and National Engineering Handbook. • The contractor is responsible for obtaining necessary permits and following Delaware County flood damage prevention regulations. • The project has a timeline of 80 actual working days. • The contractor will use industry standard BMPs for sediment control. • NRCS will provide a CAD file upon request. • The contractor is not responsible for construction layout, oversight, and as-built, as these items are the responsibility of NRCS.
