87' WPB Laser Shaft and Rudder Alignment Survey

The U.S. Coast Guard is seeking a qualified contractor to perform propulsion shaft and rudder alignment services for an 87' U.S. Coast Guard Cutter. The contractor will be required to conduct an alignment survey using optical or laser methods and provide a qualified technical representative to advise government personnel on the manufacturer's proprietary system information. The contractor will also be required to provide alignment services to assist government personnel in aligning new bearing carriers if necessary. The period of performance is from 25-29 May 2026. Key considerations for this project include: • The contractor must have experience performing similar alignment services on similar vessels. • The contractor must provide a firm-fixed-price for the services. • The contractor must be able to meet the desired start date of 25 May 2026. • The contractor must be able to provide a qualified technical representative who is familiar with the Wartsila Rudderstock Seal Type EL rudder seal system.
