The City of Salina is seeking a qualified contractor to remove, transport, and properly dispose of all vehicle and equipment tires delivered to its municipal solid waste landfill. The contractor must handle a range of tire sizes—from passenger‑car tires up to heavy‑equipment tires 30.5 inches in diameter—on a monthly or on‑demand basis, using its own labor, equipment, and transportation. All work must occur during the landfill’s public hours, comply with Kansas and EPA waste‑tire regulations, and leave the site clean after each removal. Payments are on a unit‑price basis per tire category, invoiced monthly, with payment within 30 days. The contract runs for two years, with options for early termination.
