IFB-2491-Provide Fall 2026 Semester Charter Bus Transportation for FMU Athletic Teams

Francis Marion University is seeking a qualified charter‑bus carrier to provide transportation for its athletic teams throughout the Fall 2026 semester. The contractor must supply buses, qualified drivers, fuel, maintenance, insurance, and any required passenger amenities for a series of scheduled trips that include both day‑trip and overnight events across several states. Bids are evaluated on the lowest responsive price per trip, with each sport group (lot) awarded separately. • Provide charter buses (≤ 15 years old) that meet all federal and state safety standards and include HVAC, clean interiors, and optional Wi‑Fi/power outlets. • Supply fully licensed, uniformed drivers who comply with Hours‑of‑Service rules, drug‑free workplace requirements, and university policies. • Deliver services on a per‑trip basis for 35+ scheduled athletic events (soccer, volleyball, basketball, cross‑country, etc.), some requiring overnight stays and driver lodging/meals. • Maintain at least $5 million liability insurance, submit ACORD 25 certificates, and meet all insurance, drug‑free, and open‑trade certifications as mandated.
