Call for Artists- Sculptural Bus Shelter Modification

The City of Havre de Grace is seeking local artists to design and install public artwork at two bus stops. The selected artists will be required to create three design concepts, which must meet the outlined design criteria. The final design selections will be decided upon after committee review and a public review and comment period. The artist will be responsible for managing the budget, adhering to the production schedule, documenting the installed work, transportation, installation, insurance, and any necessary technical engineering for the shelter installation. • The artwork must be original and unique, and must not interfere with the primary use of the shelter. • The artwork must be durable and able to withstand the elements. • The artwork must be safe and accessible for users. • The artist must be able to meet the project date milestones and budget constraints. • The artist must be in good standing with the City of Havre de Grace, Harford County, and the State of Maryland.
