Digital Backplane Assembly

The United States Air Force is conducting market research to identify potential sources for the Digital Backplane Assembly (DBA) qualification and production effort. The scope of this effort encompasses the development, production, delivery, installation, and testing of up to three DBAs. The DBA is a replacement for an existing system, and the contractor will be required to provide a 100% technical data package, test the DBA, and deliver it to the government. The government is seeking information on potential contractors' capabilities, experience, and interest in participating in this effort. • The DBA is a FFF replacement per drawing B3864294-1. • The contractor will be required to provide a 100% technical data package in native CAD/CAE/CAM formats and in 2-D PDF formats. • The DBA will be tested to ensure compliance with FFF requirements detailed in the Technical Data Package (TDP). • Unlimited Data Rights are required for all reverse engineering and associated documentation.
