Description
The County of Hawaii is seeking community input for the development of Requests for Proposals (RFP) for eldercare and family caregiver services, specifically for Senior Transportation Services for the Nutrition Congregate Meal Program and Adult Day Care Respite Program. The services include congregate meal program access, adult day care respite access, and essential shopping, medical, and recreational transportation.
• The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is to gather feedback and comments from the community.
• The RFI meeting is scheduled for July 23, 2026, at 10:30 am, but participation is optional.
• Written comments, suggestions, and questions are due by July 22, 2026, at 4:00 pm.
• The County of Hawaii is interested in feedback regarding program site access, budgetary issues, and other information related to senior transportation services.
