Description

Washington Technology Solutions (WaTech) is seeking vendors that can provide either wired Ethernet or fixed‑wireless connectivity to a large number of state sites throughout Washington. Bidders must already have a signed Network Services Agreement (NSA) and the appropriate technical addenda on file, submit a completed cost model, and meet mandatory technical specifications, including guaranteed install intervals and local‑loop type. Scoring is based on cost, installation timeline, and the preferred local‑loop technology (fiber receiving the highest points). The award will be based on the lowest total price that satisfies all mandatory requirements. • Service type: Provision of Ethernet wireline or fixed‑wireless network connections to multiple state facilities. • Mandatory pre‑requirements: Existing NSA and technical addenda, background checks for all personnel, and a fully completed cost‑model spreadsheet. • Evaluation criteria: Cost (NRC + 24×MRC), install interval, and local‑loop technology (fiber, wireless, or copper).

Budget estimate

$1,000,000 – $5,000,000

No contract value is disclosed, but the scope likely involves dozens of sites each requiring installation and recurring service. Assuming 30‑60 sites with installation costs of $5‑7 K and monthly recurring fees of $1,500‑3,000 (24‑month horizon), total contract value could range from roughly $1 million on the low end to $5 million on the high end. Larger site counts or higher bandwidth would push the estimate upward, while fewer sites or lower bandwidth would pull it down.
