A HEALTHCARE KIOSK STAFFING INITIATIVE

The County of Middlesex is seeking a specialized vendor to provide harm reduction services, staff, stock, manage, and provide technical assistance for Healthcare Kiosks within the county. The vendor will be responsible for providing 24/7 access to naloxone and other harm reduction supplies, operating a phone and text "warm line" for residents, and responding to requests for maintenance and other needs. The vendor will also be required to provide interactive overdose prevention and response education, increase connections to care for people at-risk of experiencing or witnessing an overdose, and increase public awareness of and support for public health tools to prevent overdose deaths. The contract will commence on January 1, 2027, and will be for a period of 12 consecutive months, with the option to extend for three additional one-year terms. • Provide 24/7 access to naloxone and other harm reduction supplies • Operate a phone and text "warm line" for residents • Respond to requests for maintenance and other needs • Provide interactive overdose prevention and response education • Increase connections to care for people at-risk of experiencing or witnessing an overdose • Increase public awareness of and support for public health tools to prevent overdose deaths
